We use his wheels for long walks and hikes. At home he prefers to be free of his wheels so that he can easily run, wrestle, roll around and just be a normal dog!
How does Lieutenant Dan go potty?
Just like any other dog! His amputation was just of his tail and hind legs. His pelvis, urinary system, and GI system are all intact.
He has no problems going potty on his own, but does not have full ability to control his bowel movements. Due to this he wears a diaper in the house.
