Lieutenant Dan never had movement or feeling in his tail. We initially attempted to allow him to keep his tail, but due to not having feeling or movement he ended up breaking his tail while playing. The break caused an infection and it was decided the best course of action to prevent future complications was to amputate his tail. Once healed he didn't let the change slow him down!
